Hello everyone,
I just purchased a Ground Control Pro in hopes that I could use the midi foot controller to control my PD patches. However, I don't get any midiIn output. Using the Test Audio Midi patch in the PD extended-0.39.2 build I receive no output to the message boxes. I have made sure the pedal is sending messages by checking the AUDIO/MIDI settings in OSX, I get nice test tones and flashes when pressing the foot buttons, in the System Utility(Audio/midi).
I use a USB UNO midi interface to talk between the GCPro and the Powerbook g4, I have made sure that I have selected the midi interface in the PD preferences, applied and hit ok.
I have read to type pd -listdev, but I don't know exactly where to put this, I have set it in startup flags and tried sending a message from the File menu.
Has anyone ran into this problem before? Or have a diagnositc program that I could run that could perhaps translate the midi messages into midi messages the PureData understands?
I have also plugged in a midi keyboard(same Uno interface), Puredata gets those messages fine.
I have the pedal setup with the factory settings, there is a Gcpro manual at the Voodoo labs site(if you need any reference).
I would much appreciate any help in any direction, thanks a bunch.

Did you leave the "Audio MIDI Setup" application open when running PD? This is usually necessary in my experience. Did your specific interface appear on the list of available MIDI devices in PD?
