Hello all,
When I launch PD the Tk interface reports DIO errors. Enclosed is a snapshot of the terminal window output. Can anybody help me sort this out? I need PD for my life, or jmax, or anything which runs on a PC.
Thanks,
Ed

try to start pd with the -frags flag. start pd with the command "pd -frags 10" (you may also create a file called .pdrc in your home directory where you can store all the flags - just write "-frags 10 " into it.
for a detailed discussion about this, see miller puckette's pd documentation, http://crca.ucsd.edu/~msp/Pd_documentation/x3.htm#s1.3
hope this helps, norbert
