Hi Konstantinos,
Compute Audio is checked and I still do not get any midi sound. I'm not new to pd, but I previously used it under Win xp and never met this kind of trouble.
Best regards,
François

Hi François,
First of all make sure that the Compute Audio box is checked in the main Pd window.
In a new patch create a noteout object and then right click and choose help. In the help patch use one of the examples to see if you hear any sound.
If you are new to Pd there is a book called Loadbang. You can find it online too. I find it really helpful.
An important thing about the the list. When you reply to a mail from the list use the "reply to all" button. I am the only receiver of your last message.
Best, K.

Hi,
The iac driver is deactivated by default. To activate go Audio/midi setup in system preferences double click on the driver icon and check the "Device is online" box.

Hi all,
I recently installed pd-extended on my macbook 10.5.7, and midi does not work. No input or output midi device appears in the pd midi settings window. What should I do ?
Thanks
