if send buffer 1 to gemwin donŽt draw anything. I want that when render a frame the previous frame donŽt clear...still drawed on back of screen, and this way successively...
in openGL without the command glClear this works. but in GEM i donŽt know how desactivate glCLear... that is my question.
thank you.

You want single buffer rendering? Send a 'buffer 1' message to gemwin. I think PixDataSimple.pd in the 04.pix examples uses singlebuffer rendering.

tried this also, didn't work in my patch.
Interestingly enough the patch in GEM examples (PixDataSimple.pd) does leave pixels behind that have not been drawn over
sending gemwin the "buffer 2" message does indeed clear the old pixels though

Hi, I've got it, [GEMglDrawBuffer] defined with [GLdefine GL_FRONT] and connected to [GEMglClear] does single buffering.

If you don't find it I will send an attached patch...
