hey list,
I see that there are a number of PD objects for streaming audio, but most are for windows or Linux. Could someone recommend objects, best approach, etc. to do this from a mac?
Thanks, Joe

hi,
you can use the pdogg objects from Olaf Matthes, i never compiled them on osx but acording to the makefile it should be possible. it's a very nice suite of 4 objects to work with audio stream in the ogg format with icecast servers.
you can find it in the CVS or here http://www.akustische-kunst.de/puredata/pdogg/
to listen to the stream created you can use
alsaplayer and you can't open stream using login/pass auth)
the ogg codec (http://qtcomponents.sourceforge.net/)
++ aym3ric.
