I'm wondering how to gate (allow to pass or prevent passage of) messages that consist of lists -- something like Max's gate and switch objects. Gating single floats can be done with the select object, but how do I gate lists? Is there an object that I've missed when scanning the object list in the documentation?
Thanks for any tips!

gate itself is not in Pd (probably in the cyclone-lib), but it is easy to emulate as an abstraction with a handful of "spigot" objects and "select". For routing lists based on the first element, pd provides "route" with is like "select", but passes on the remainder of the list, if a match is found, in the respective outlet and all other lists in the right-most outlet.
