Hi, Gem text3d question; Does the object only support a straight line of text? im trying to wrap text around an object. Also, Im having trouble getting multiple lines on one text object. Is there a limitation here? Last, is there a message supporting floating characters (char?)?
Thanks Timon.

both is true: [text3d] supports only single lines of planar text. you cannot use line-wrapping (e.g: use linebreaks) and you cannot wrap text-around (say) a sphere with a single [text3d].
Last, is there a message supporting floating characters (char?)?
what do you mean by this ? you can set the text to be displayed to a one-character symbol. (just "[text a(") thus you could wrap your text around an arbitrary form, but it is not very dynamic. (e.g: changing the text on the fly is not very elegant)
