Hello,
I'm using the Edirol UA-5 i/o device with WDM ASIO drivers on Windows XP. When I start PD with
C:\pd\bin\pd.exe -verbose -listdev -asio
I get
Error Number -9999 occured opening portaudio stream Error Message invalid number of channels
The Edirol unit is a 2-channel device.
Any suggestions?
Regards, Dave Sabine

Hi all,
Test 28 is out... the main new "feature" is settable blocksize in ASIO. I've managed to get latency down to about 10 msec for RME hammerfall in ASIO.
Some bug fixes too... I hope to get teh "final" 0.35 out in 2 weeks.
cheers Miller

Sorry, I added -sounddev 0 to the command line and I successfully avoided the error message.
