hi all,
everything is fine when i'm listening to a stereo sound using a simple adc~ to dac~. now, trying with the same source and linked to a demux~ . . the sound seem to be amplificated and it's no longer in stereo (just 1 inlet~). i'm on linux, alsa, jack and pd 0.37.1. is anyone has an alternative?
i don't think i really need this object, what i want to do is to use both pan~ and pansig~ (motex external). but i can't reset (center) the sound of pansig~ that's why i was trying to route the sound [0] to pan~ [1] to pansig~. any idea?

i am not sure whether i understand your problem. i know that there is a bug in [demux~] (and probably [mux~] too); have to fix it as soon as i find time, but it is related to outputting several signals (wherever they come from) through "muted" demux-channels, which seems to me, is not your problem.
as for amplification: no idea what you mean exactly: could you post an example patch ?
as for stereo: yes, [demux~] is a mono-object (demultiplex means 1-to-n). use 2 of them if you want stereo.
