Howdy all,
I have been admittedly behind in releasing libpd 0.12, mainly as I was waiting on implementing and testing much needed changes for the Obj-C / iOS wrapper. We have generally tried to keep libpd up to date with the current core releases and now that Pd 0.51 is released, it's definitely time to put out what we have for libpd 0.12.
My question to those of you using libpd is: Should the next release stay with the current Pd core 0.50-2 or should we skip it and go directly to libpd + Pd core 0.51?

I'd say go for 0.51, or is there a good reason not to?
Is multi-instance support for messages and MIDI on the roadmap to be included in Pd 0.52 and libpd 0.13 ?

Multi instance and 64 bit for the next Pd and libpd would be great. Camomile would help to make a super solid "export to VST"!

Multi instance
To be clear, Pd / libpd already have multiinstance support for a while now, only a few things like multiinstance MIDI hooks are missing.
64 bit
I guess you mean double precision? I know I'm being a bit pedantic here, but this has been an endless source of confusion. Anyway, Pd 0.51 is more or less ready for double precision, you just have to compile with -DPD_FLOATSIZE=64

I'd say the same as Max, 0.51 would be nice, I personally don't need to halt at 0.50-2.

Yep, no need for a 0.50 version as far as I can see. I've already compiled a local version of libpd using 0.51 (only had to add s_net.c to the libpd makefile to do it) and am trying to recompile Camomile to use it so I can get hold of some new features by one Dan Wilcox :)
