Yeah, this is a kludge until we get the AppMain.tcl thing working.
Did move the Pd.app to your /Applications folder? What does this show you:ls -l /Applications/Pd.app/Contents/Resources/Pd.term
tiggity:~ tigital$ ls -l /Applications/Pd.app/Contents/Resources/Pd.term ls: /Applications/Pd.app/Contents/Resources/Pd.term: No such file or directory
...wonder where it went, because I can see it there via finder? Also check ls -la on my /Applications directory, and it doesn't even show Pd.app! Weird...
ok, what was i thinking? One reason the above occurred is because I put the Pd.app in /Applications/pd-0.37-4, so here's the output again:
tiggity:~ tigital$ ls -l /Applications/pd-0.37-4/Pd.app/Contents/Resources/Pd.term -rw-r--r-- 1 tigital admin 2606 13 Aug 20:40 /Applications/pd-0.37-4/Pd.app/Contents/Resources/Pd.term
...but the app still doesn't work...guess there's a problem with the permissions? Looks like lotsa read-only ;-)
Because this version is a kludge, it will only work in one location.
It must be in /Applications, it can't even be in a subdirectory of
/Applications, like /Applications/pd-0.37-4. I had to use absolute
paths. Yes its a kludge, but its temporary to allow one step in the
right direction.
