Hi list
Well, the question is not that relevant with the list´s subject but i can not find another place to ask and i think many people from here would be able to answer. I am trying to find a master degree in digital music/digital sound, in Europe, in English Spanish or Greek. So i wanted to ask if someone knows which Institutes are considered good on this field.
Thank you

Hi Konstantinos,
The Danish Royal Acadamy of Music in Aarhus might be what your looking for, especially if your focus is on music and composition:
http://www.musik-kons.dk/english/study/e-music.php
I know that several leading danish electronic music artists attended this school and higly recommends it.
I hope my suggestion is not completely off.
Otherwise I remember reading of several different educations in digital music/digital sound in London - but I can't recall the exact details.
Good luck! Thomas

Geia sou Konstantine!
Well I'm sure there are countless one around Europe, I know mostly about the ones in UK. The one proposed in Edinburgh is a good one, I'd say there is a good pool of students and there is also a good MSc in acoustics where Dr. Stefan Bilbao is specialising in physical modelling.
Another one I know of is the MSc course run in the university of Huddersfield (close to Manchester) http://www2.hud.ac.uk/ce/musictech/ and there is a course also in the University of York (with a good tradition on 3D audio). http://www.york.ac.uk/inst/mustech/
A specialised Institute with MSc courses is SARC in Belfast, on all aspects of computer music, performance, interfaces etc... http://www.sarc.qub.ac.uk/
I'm sure there are some in London too, I've heard of Queen Mary course: http://www.elec.qmul.ac.uk/digitalmusic/
University Pompeau Fabra (see link above) should be excellent and it's the one where reactable was developed.
There is also the Institute of Sonology in Hague with english speaking Msc (less computer/programming) http://www.koncon.nl/public_site/220/Sononieuw/UK/frameset-uk.html
Greece, I don't think so, nothing dedicated to computer music yet, even though there are some strong professors in audio signal processing in the electronic engineering departments.
I'm sure there will be good courses in Germany and France too but I'm not sure about the language. What about IEM itself (Graz, Austria)?? Is the Master only in German??
Scandinavian countries usually offer english-speaking courses and I'm sure there will be some good courses there.
Good luck searching, Archontis

You can as well look at the ATIAM course, this course takes mainly place at the IRCAM, they helped a lot in the creation of Max.
