hello,
I have made a serie of objects for physical modeling with pd. The object send Data but NO AUDIO.
the aim is to generate data for the control of an audio synthesis and/or video synthesis... it's just like http://www.sodaplay.com/ for pd.
I upload sources + object for windows and linux + exemples here :
http://drpichon.free.fr/pure-data/physical-modeling/
you nead all the object for testing the exemples. (I'll make a lib later...)
I'll be very happy if someone can compile them on OSX (sould be easy : no dependancy)
any question / comment / etc are welcome.

...I've uploaded an archive named "physical_modelingOSX.v.0.01.sit" with source, examples, and precompiled OSX binaries to my site:

...uh, all I can say is: WOW!!!! Damping algorithms have been on my todo list for soo long re: newWave/ripple, and now you plop down a whole bunch of very flexible stuff that go far beyond simple additions to a GEM geos ;-)
...I really like the example patches, too; but I think you'll need to create some detailed help patches...I'm still trying to figure out how the collision detection is working in example "08_non_lineaire2.pd"...
thanx, jamie

yes, I know... I nead to add comment on exemples, and to make a help for every mass and lia object. soon...
( for the exemple 8 : the non linearity of the interaction comme from the lia between the 2 structures. by default string act for compression and extention, but "mode 1" message allows them to act only for compression, and "mode 2" : only for extension)
more documentation soon...
thanx, jamie

ok : I add a zip file in the src directory with the .C files.

ciao
Yes please more documentation!!!
(what are the method for each object? arguments? etc..)
Are these in the externals CVS yet? (please please please)

Hi friends, did someone had experience with SB live - driver emu10k1 and the PD 0.37 alsa version? we're actually test it under three machines under linux, 2 with two sb live and another one with a laptop with another sound card, this last one have no problem with it but the 2 others yes. When we run a patch, there's regular noise and error from the A/D/A sync. It' seems that we have a problem with PD-alsa and the SB live emu10k1's driver for alsa.
does someone have an idea or experienced this problem?
thanks for your help
best
