Hi,
I'd like to generate a sonogram out of an input signal. Can anyone give me advice how to do that ?
thank you, best regards, Michael Cujé.

Do you want time domain (waveform oscilloscope), or frequency domain (FFT)?

hi,
i recently found that i could not get a Gem release with pix_mean_color included, to work on ibook G4 (os10.4.2) machines. for example the latest version of Hans C.S. or Tigital gives the following error : symbol not found : _glFramebufferRenderbufferEXT
?? vincent
10.4.3 might be required for those versions of GEM.

sp.wid and spectrum.wid in /extensions/gui/ix , using the widget object in /extensions/miXed (both dirs CVS) . if you want a realtime scrolling fullcolor sonogram, and spectrum meter..
thank you, best regards, Michael Cujé.

If you're lucky enough to be able to use this library ;-).

afaik all [widget] requires is the tk headers. and pd headers, to compile, works out of the box every time i try to compile it. save for a name conflict with devel..
the sonogram widget (sp.wid) doesn't even require the Img library, since you only need that if you want to load PNG or other formats beyond raw pixels or GIF..
as mentioned, theres also Yves's sonogram, but if i recall it was really slow, not realtime, and grayscale, otherwise i would have used it :)

hi,
i just tried sp-demo.pd and this is the error:
beware! this is widget 0.1, 19th alpha build... warning (Widget): no file 'setup.wid'... using built-in defaults mp3amp~: getting canvas mp3amp~: initializing decoder... mp3amp~: mp3 streaming client v0.12, written by Yves Degoyon widget's error: creation failure ... you might be able to track this down from the Find menu. see standard error for details
i am running linux - pd 0.39.2 and just compiled miXed toxy from the cvs. also filter-demo.pd doesn't work either, but know-demo.pd is working (very nice by the way). can you help to make it work?
