http://iem.at/~zmoelnig/publications/ambisonic/ambisonic_en.html Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but you could also do a search for "Pure Data Ambisonic". There seems to be a few implementations for this stuff already out there.

yeah, i thought they might have it for the cube at institute for electronic music and acoustics, but hoped to find some examples how to patch it in pd. like how to convert radians to rotation of the sound. i guess it is in rotation~.
