Hi Hans-Christoph and List,
Just a observation... maybe I missed something....
RC6 runs great on Tiger where I have it, pidip and gridflow all working.
Last night I decided to try it on another machine running osx 10.3.9
and audio just didn't work at all - maybe that's already a known
problem.
I then downloaded Jack for OSX and tried RC6 again telling it to use
Jack and now it works fine.
Just thought I'd mention this in case anyone else has this problem
with 10.3.9.
Best, p
I am actually on 10.3.9 myself and I haven't seen this audio trouble.
But I have Jack installed.
It is compiled with weak linking, so it _should_ work without Jack.

Hmm... it might be a conflict with other installations on that machine.
Anyway... with Jack installed all is good and now i'll finally have
reason to experiment with Jack :-)

Sorry for asking something so silly for you all, but i'm going really
crazy and i'm a new bye (that are fall in love with pd)
The problem is that i'm trying from a long time to install pdp and pidip
on a mac.
I tried on Panther with care to read all the guide there are about it
without any result.
On tiger, when rc6 comes, i though that my problems where finish...but
didn't change much.
RC6 cames with all pdp and pidip extra for darwin, but when i open a
pacth pd don't recognize pdp objects.
I don't know why.
I read here about many people that use pdp and pidip on mac os x. I
would like to install pdpVJ, maibe with your help i'll can.
Bye
Husk
Hi Husk,
I don't think RC6 has pdp.pd_darwin yet, but you can get it from RC5
or you can follow the instructions here (this worked for me) to install:
