Hi , i been reading that the richness of the sound in tube amplifiers is due natural non-linearities inherent in tube amplifiers.
I was wondering if there are ways to simulate or recreate these kind of non linearities for distortions.
are there any nonlinear distortions in pd? or do anybody have tried implementing something like this?
cheers
Xiao.
Hi Xiao, check out [overdrive~] and [saturate~] from the cyclone and sigpack libraries in extended.
