Hello, I would like to know if the 'hide on lock' technic in Max can be done in pd ? I could not find anything about it in the doc, but I thought it would be worth to ask. Thanks
Nope, but right-clicking on GUI objects brings up a menu and there's a 'properties' item. Selecting it lets you assign send and receive symbols so you can avoid drawing patch chords if you're desiging a GUI.

i would recomend that you look into the "graph on parent" functionality, this lets you design a top level control patch that embeds all the ugly stuff in sub patches that expose pretty gui's with G.O.P. ... very cool stuff.
