hello! i ran in to this problem with 0.18 as well. as far as i remember you can do a make clean (also stops with errors, but works) and then make ggext
Thx for your help
I do a 'make clean'
then 'make' ends with:
ld -export_dynamic -shared -o ggext.pd_linux ggee.o */*.o -lpthread -lm -lc
signal/streamin~.o: In function setsocketoptions': /usr/src/ggee/signal/streamin~.c:69: multiple definition of
setsocketoptions'
signal/streaminold.o:/usr/src/ggee/signal/streaminold.c:58: first defined here
ld: Warning: size of symbol setsocketoptions' changed from 122 to 92 in signal/streamin~.o signal/streamin~.o: In function
streamin_tilde_setup':
/usr/src/ggee/signal/streamin~.c:384: multiple definition of streamin_tilde_setup' signal/streaminold.o:/usr/src/ggee/signal/streaminold.c:329: first defined here ld: Warning: size of symbol
streamin_tilde_setup' changed from 130 to 211 in signal/streamin~.o
make: *** [ggext] Error 1
Well... :) I can add the externals to my path but may be this reveals a problem with streamin~ ?

Let's say you have tcl/tk 8.3 installed. log as root go into /usr/lib type this:
ln -s libtcl8.3.so libtcl8.2.so ln -s libtcl8.3.so libtcl8.1.so ln -s libtcl8.3.so libtcl8.0.so ln -s libtk8.3.so libtk8.2.so ln -s libtk8.3.so libtk8.1.so ln -s libtk8.3.so libtk8.0.so ldconfig
This is to make sure sure that softwares expecting an ealier version of tcl/tk will try to use the latest version installed.
If it doesn't work, then recompile pd. It's better to recompile anyway.
Good luck Marc

Well, both suggestions make the gui to run but I can not open a patch on the screen unless -nosound is specified. Also tryed things like -nogui -open ~/file.pd
