Here is what my JI sequencer looks like in both 0.38-3 and Pd-extended. So, at this point, I'd rather be able to get the individual external libraries, wherever possible, than to just use extended.

Looks like some tk drawing commands are bailing, do you see any weird messages to STDERR or STDOUT like "invalid command .x44ee44 blah blah"?
I got a lot of this in pixelTANGO in development, and needed a lot of tweaking to (hopefully) get rid of it. I think I was saturating the PD-tk connection...

I had this happen today using extended on Windows. Opening the same patch in 0.39 worked properly.
