Hi, in pd loading a sound into a table while pd is making sounds makes stops the audio for a few seconds.
Is there a specific way of trick for avoiding this?
any idea would be appreciated.
cheers
Xiao.
Try to put the table in a subpatch. It should work this way.

Soundfiler interrupts the audiostream. This has been discussed here before.

There is also a work-around by using [readsf~] within an upsampled subpatch. Also this work-around has been discussed several times on this list, so I probably don't need to give any more hints.
(I think, it is even documented in Pd itself)
