Hi,
If you want an external, freeverb~ is pretty good sounding. Google "freeverb~ external". I packaged Miller's reverb (from the pd documentation) into a GOP abstraction which you can get here: http://mccormick.cx/viewcvs/*checkout*/s-abstractions/s-reverb~.pd Or just use the original.
Someday I'm planning on doing an abstraction implementation of freeverb, but who knows when that will happen.
Best,
Chris.

Hi Sven,
There was a simlilar thread on this very list some months ago, have a look at the archives: http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list
Otherwise i always liked Miller's [rev3~] which is a 2 in/4 out reverberation abstraction(!) which sounds fine to me.
cheerio,
Peter

[sorry to break the threading, I deleted the original message]
Sven,
You might want to try some of the LADSPA reverbs using either the plugin~ or dssi~ externals.

freeverb~ is a popular choice, and is included in Pd-extended. It can be CPU intensive tho.
