Annoyingly I am getting regular audio drop outs (400ms every 20 seconds or so) when using pd on my windows box (amd 3200 blah blah). Presumably some kind of service is interfering with pd or something... I have started a trouble shooting operation (shutting down programs and services - even installing a separate) but before desperate measures are taken I thought I should put the question out there to see if anyone has any experience or suggestion of what could be possible culprits on my os...
I should mention that none of my other audio programs (jeskola buzz, soundforge, tracktion) are suffering from the same problem... only pd..
Many thanks Karl
OK I have been listening to a 100Hz sine wave for 4 minutes without dropouts so it appears it is working fine now. seems pd didnt like that the input was set to use the mic on my webcam.. :) or something...
