Hi, I know there is a Linux joystick and I read there was some work to port this to OSX. I wonder if this has had any progress lately? This is of great interest. I currently use sliders to control GEM. MUCH headache!
Thanks, Timon.
Its on my TODO list, but I probably won't have time for it until May.
It wouldn't be a 'port' since they the Linux event system is a
different animal than the MacOS X HID Manager. But it would be an
object with a similar interface.
Someone else said they were going to work on this, but I don't remember
who.

BTW GridFlow 0.7.6 (CVS) includes a libusb-for-Ruby that gets built if libusb.(so|dylib) is detected. [delcomusb] is implemented on top of that, and thus enables Delcom USB microcontrollers in Pd/jMax on Linux/BSD/OSX.
