Hi, does anyone know where add_history is defined? When I create a fluid~, this is what happens:
/usr/lib/pd/extra/fluid~.pd_linux: /usr/lib/pd/extra/fluid~.pd_linux: undefined symbol: add_history fluid~ ... couldn't create
Thanks!

Ok, this is strange. I dug a bit further and found that add_history is in fluidsynth.a. However, the makefile for fluid does link to this library.
So I have no idea what could be going wrong.
Any help is obviously appreciated.

Sounds very much like libreadline. Try to build fluidsynth with "--enable-readline=no" or similar.
