hey,
i have a small feature request for PD that i'm sure many people would find useful. It would be great if a "recent files" option could be added to the file menu. I reopen the same patch many times while working on a project and it would be nice not to have to go through the whole directory structure to find it each time.
also, just to jump on the icon/logo band wagon. I really like Ben's Lego idea and I'm going to submit something for everybody's opinion pretty soon.

That does sound like a good idea. It would be nice to have all of the standard OS features in Pd so it feels more like a native app on each platform. Tcl can do most of this, its just a matter of figuring out how. If you really want this to happen, it would help if you did a little research about how to do it in Tcl and posted it with your request. If you really want it to happen, then crack open pd.tk on your machine and do it.
