hello dear pd list,
i would like to use gridflow on xp, but i can't find a way to start it: i downloaded ruby, gridflow, gridflowxp(/carmen); i tried to load it with pd -lib gridflow, then ruby part loads(i think) but then it says it can't load gridflow.so(and i don't have this file).
the questions are: is there a xp-install faq or tutorial of some sort? what things are required for xp version(besides ruby, pd) can anyone help me?
ps. if i manage to run it, i would like to post a step-by-step tutorial on xp install because i know how this hurts! :)

the CVS 'just works' on windows w/ the GNU-userspace/compilers+Ruby, with one (rather showstopper caveat) which is the configure script does not successfuly run the GCC tests, but for someone with a little ruby knowledge they might be able to fix it. .
what i did to create those dll's was manually add the lines to config.h to enable SDL, LibJPEG, LibPNG, (installed in mingw, binaries @ gnuwin32.sourceforge.net) and the corresponding .c files to the the makefile..not ideal but i think the ruby pipe-redirect thing is screwdup on win32...
it did seem to get nice framerates and most of the demo's worked..if a ruby expert wants to try fixing configure that would be great :)
