Hi, I've got a question which probably has already been answered (sorry).
It seems that whenever I load a patch that uses a "pd *" style subpatch, the subpatch window always opens as well, when the main patch is loaded. Is there a way to set this, and/or is there something I'm doing wrong? Just want to avoid the screen clutter and the nusiance of having to click-close the subpatch when I don't want to see it...
Larry

This should happen only if the subpatch was open when you saved the main patch.
As for your question about the delay behavior.. On my system delay is accurate to +/- 2 ms.... which I would expect with a blocksize of 64 samples. Maybe you are using a large blocksize?
The clock rate of /dev/rtc is controlled with ioctls by user programs... its not fixed by the kernel... pd probably sets the rtc according to the blocksize in use... unless it uses some other method, I don't know.

Well, there's some weirdosity going on here, because on my installation that's not the case! I have too instances of this happening, one with a PD subpatch that's always opened, another with an abstraction that always gets opened! This is on version 0.34.
Oh well, there's more important problems to solve at the moment, like where did I put the keys to my office (<- perhaps that will be solved in the next version of PD - Miller??)

It depends if the "pd *" subpatch was closed or opened when you saved the parent.

PS: I have sent a garbage mail to the list by mistake, please ignore it.
