Hi list,
On debian testing with package puredata-core version 0.50.2-1 I am trying to save any help file in /usr/lib/puredata/doc/5.reference/list-help.pd as non-root user without having the proper permissions. What is funny is that the subsequent and correct error message misspells the filename giving me some funny characters in the filename: /usr/lib/puredata/doc/5.reference/list-h¹# : Permission denied (the funy characters do spell differently in Pd's console than in this email here though). This does not happen with other patches that root created when a user that does not have write permissions tries to save. There the filenames do spell correctly. Can anyone with the same O.S. and packages confirm?
thanks and happy christmas to everyone on this list! P
Yikes... this has never worked. Should be fixed in git repo now.
thanks Miller
