Hello,
Is there an IRC channel anywhere for chatting about PD? If not, any suggestions for where to start one? Thanks!

About the Belgian pd-users-meeting:
He liked the idea for the PdStaminee and would like to program it @ the UNIT (Ghent).
probably somewhere in March || Had to check his agenda ||
I'd like to focus on PD (and PD-other soft colaborations) for the evening...
what you all say?
Who wants to perform / jam / put an installation ?

yeah joining these two would be nice. i think the object-parsimonious (but probably cpu exhaustive) way to get these libraries talking together is to build sig2pdp~ and pdp2sig~ objects.
then you can burn lots of cpu cycles with pix_snap~ -> pix_pix2sig~ -> then recomposite the three greyscale layers with 3x[ sig2pdp~ -> pdp_gradient -> pdp_add]
personally i'm more interested in applying pdp packets as textures in gem...
there are probably faster ways to do with without the intermediate sig objects, actually, perhaps pix2pdp + pdp2pix is even easier to make?
just thinking out loud. someone other than me will probably be first to make either of these objects.
pix.
if it were a month later a few pd users from the southern hemisphere could make it. we're doing a world tour and i for one use pd exlusively in live performance. we're playing on the 12th in brussels, and selling records to you belgians of course ;)

Cool. Will you visit Germany as well? But maybe I could come to Brussels, it's not too far from here.

There are two of them:
#dataflow on freenode.net (about both PD and jMax)
#pure-data on efnet
