hi all
after having solved all my gem problems (thank you all, shift8, chris clepper and mccormick, cyrille and maybe others, for your patience) and after having written the rule 'do not load multiple externals, when testing externals!' (very important rule!!!! i cannot say that loud enough) on my forehead, i found out, that - besides 3dp, which is obvious - also pidip is conflicting with gem. is that a known issue?
when i load both, gem and pidip (no matter, in which order) and i send [create( to [gemwin], i get a message 'fglrx: failed to map depth buffer' to stderr and gem-window freezes showing the background (desktop and/or x-windows).
it is not a real problem for me, though. i am just wondering.

Could it be an all.trees file problems? I'm using some of the fiducials found on the "The design and Evolution od fiducials for the reacTIVision System" document.
thank you guys

did you try the pix_fiducialtrack-help.pd ? you really need to do some b/w-thresholding before applying the fiducial tracking; [pix_threshold_bernsen] gives you the algorithm used by reacTIVision.
the all.trees file provided with Gem is stolen from reacTIVision.
