I have been looking at a qlist sequence written for the polysampler.pd in the audio examples and the add command is completely droped and there are ;'s instead of ,'s. still doesn't make my .txt file work. I'll keep at it and repost if I'm still stuck.
I found the problem, it was a rediculous oversight. I forgot to type , rewind, bang. Now on to the bigger problem solving!

Hi,
You are right the qlist file format is not the same as the messages you send to it. Check out the help file of qlist for the format, its
relative_timetag_in_ms target message ;
(the timetag is optional, if not there is it 0, always end with ";")
