Hi, i downloaded the latest compiled version of zexy for windows from pd site (zexy-nt-2.1) but it doesnt load. Im loading in the same way i load gem but i get "zexy.dll couldnt load".
Any idea why is this? Im on windows 10 using pd 64 bits.
Other question: Does pd externals compiled for 32 bits run on 64 bit pd?
Maybe that version of zexy is compiled for 32 bits? If thats the reason, any idea where can i get zexy compiled for 64 bits?
Thanks in advance
R.
Hi,

This is not the newest version.
Does pd externals compiled for 32 bits run on 64 bit pd?
No.
Maybe that version of zexy is compiled for 32 bits?
Probably.
if thats the reason, any idea where can i get zexy compiled for 64 bits?
Always try to download externals with Deken (Pd's package manager): Help -> Find externals. For zexy, just type "zexy" and pick the first result. By default, Deken only shows the packages matching your architecture (others appear greyed out).

No, unless you can run Pd or a terminal on your phone ;-)
Just get a temporary internet connection for your computer (you can open a hotspot on your mobile phone) or use another computer to download the libraries.
Note that your problem is not specific to Pd, you will run into this issue when trying to get plugins for *any* program without having an internet connection.

hmm, well. thanks for providing a quick downloadable solution for ronni.
but since i always have to nitpick....
zexy-2.3.0 and the most recent one is zexy-2.3.1 (released on the day before yesterday). the new version contains a bugfix for [msgfile] that might hang Pd.
there's no real reason to (re)upload them to a google-drive. sharing the deken-links should be simple enough:
into your buffer.
then paste the link into the mail: [http://puredata.info/Members/zmoelnigbot/software/zexy/2.3.1/zexy%5Bv2.3.1%5D(Darwin-amd64-32)(Linux-amd64-32)(Linux-arm64-32)(Linux-armv7-32)(Linux-i386-32)(Windows-amd64-32)(Windows-i386-32).dek]

true.
nevertheless, it would be nice to be able to do a manual search (and download) for deken package via a webinterface.
it's been on my TODO list for a while (although i guess it will stay there for another while)
