I've posted a Windows binary (pd.dll) from patched 0.35-test19 of my gui patches (colored, highlighted patch cords and drop shadows).

hi, the good things first: i think itŽs good that the gui is improved and i donŽt want to stop you or anyone from doing that. but for me the different thickness and colors of the cords is not a good idea. first i think it makes pd look a little clumsy. and i donŽt know why it is meaningful to differentiate between signal- and message-cords. and then i also vote for a fast-as-possible pd. the graphic is slow already and thatŽs a weak point (in my opinion), maybe the shadows will not reduce the speed a lot, but still i believe they do... (?). so i look forward to be convinced of the opposite : ). i like the changing of the cord-colour on mouse-over. sme.
