what about implementing an [endbang]-object? i don't know how easy this is to realize in pd (or in tc/tkl). if you dynamically open patches with msgs to pd, you can get a mess if you close a patch manually by mistake. an endbang would fix this problem.

This is on the dolist... but not on top of the pile so it might take a while to appear.
I think the Max/MSP name is "closebang", which Pd should use too.

hi Roman,
[route menuclose] may serve as a [closebang] replacement -- feed it from the 3rd outlet of a capturing [tot], e.g.
[loadbang] -> 'capture 1' -> [tot .]3rd -> [route menuclose]
There is some overhead, of course...
