Hola Ruben,
You could check to see if the .dll files for those objects are really missing or not. If they exist in the pd/extra folder of the 0.39 version, then it's possible your settings are incorrect. Note, they could also be in a subfolder of pd/extra. Best to use whatever Windows has for a find/locate command to see where "moog~.dll" is located...
If they don't exist in the pd/extra folder of the 0.39 version, you could copy them over from the 0.38 version. I do this with the OS X extended releases all the time when I see something's missing.
good luck, d.

short answer: you send position messages of an attraction point in space and then your boids object prints out positions of x flocks everytime you bang it. the positions are affected by the attraction point and neighboring flocks. (there is a bunch of settings for all that) marius.

hi, accidentally I found two objects (boids2d and boids3d) which could be very nice tools, if only they were working. I have no idea who ported them to pd, but message input seems to be broken. Hi everybody
I really hope these notes aren't a drag for anybody - it's always such a blast to meet up with Pders in distant lands.
Again, I got super-lucky and I'm doing some more touring, this time with a really cool indie pop band. In April we'll be in London, Brighton, Paris, Berlin and Vienna. In May and June we're doing North America and sometime in July/August we're spending a short time in Japan and Australia, but no specific dates for those yet.
The reason this is only sorta OT is that until I'm told to smarten up, I'm actually using Pd on stage for this one - nothing fancy, just a couple of synths and some effects.
Anybody want to meet for a beer/coffee? I'll put more schedule details here in a couple of days: www.sideshowmedia.ca/tourdates.html
cheers dafydd

i suppose [moog~] is in ggee there too? with my latest ext download (autobuild 0.40.2, 18 march) i had the same with [moog~] and other ggee objects. adding the path to the prefs file (i did in an xml editor) solved it. for me, in 0.40.2 from miller's site, with the externals and an edited prefs from the autobuild, [freeverb~] has no problems. it's specified in the 'binaries to be loaded' as well as (its path) in the path-section of the prefs, though i only see them in an xml editor, accessed through pd i don't see everything that's there. too few lines, i don't know. maybe a pd-ext prefs feature, i suppose you could work around it by writing your own and using the ':' trick to use one line for several preferences. hope this helps, robbert

Hi, this is a little bit off topic. but it looks like there is a solution now for rme pcmcia hardware for macbook pro. that is a pcmcia to express card adapter ("dueladapter") in combination with the newly released rme UB driver for intel macs. my question is, if anybody has tested that on a dsp multiface? with pd? marius.

Hello,
I was just wondering, if anyone has made a playlist abstraction to play full movies with [pix_film] and [auto 1(. I could do that myself, but why should everyone have to invent the wheel, especially when it always tends to be a polygon ;)

Check the README that came with the package. If you follow the "installation" instructions, you'll be able to use those objects again.
