yo i already have tcltk installed, as i'm using pd 0.36 but for some reason the installer doesnt work humm?

Well, the installer package i downloaded does not behave like an installer at all. When you 2click on it, it launches Quicktime and that's about it. I dloaded it twice and the same happened. r
Sounds like you have .dmg or .pkg files mapped to open with QuickTime.
The installer is distributed as a disk image (.dmg). On the disk
image, there is the master package (.mpkg) which installs a collection
of packages (.pkg). .dmg files should open with "Disk Copy" and .pkg
and .mpkg files should open with "Installer".
How far are you getting?
