Hi, thanks, I thought that might be the only solution. I have tried to get pdp to work a few times but given up. I can never find the gslLib's (or something like that). Ill have to give it another stab.
Cheers Timon.
hi,
there is an object that loads quick time video into memory in PiDiP called pdp_fqt but i t only loads one then you can have several of these objects if you have enough memory. ( got comissionned to do that for a video installation that needed a fast switch ).
don't know if that helps. anyway: http://ydegoyon.free.fr/pidip.html

Hi, Is there a another more efficient way of switching between video clips then sending an [open] message to pix_film? Although different, in Max you could [open]/load a bunch of movies into the memory, and then send a play message to the specific one at any time. Any suggestions?
Thanks T.
