hi,
someone asked this question today and if he's lucky enough to be on linux, he can use :
gem -> gem2pdp -> pdp_rec~
pdp_rec~ is a PiDiP object which also records sound output ( stereo )
cheers,
sevy/yves
And in Windows? Is there any chance to record the GEM output?

Only using the pix_write method to produce individual frame images which can then be reassembled.
Output recording to a compressed movie file is in the GEM to-do list but at this stage probably isn't really close to the top.
If there are any Windows programmers lurking with experience in openGL/ Video For Windows/ DirectShow then the GEM development team would appreciate your help!
