In windows with gem version .90 I get this error when I attempt to render the gemwin:
'pix_videoDS: Could not start graph playback, hr 0x00700001'
I am trying to capture input from my Sony DV camera. Perhaps I am missing something completely, like an object or something. I attached my patch.. very simple... But I can't find any detailed documentation on alot of GEM objects. Is there help patches I can get so that I can open help for specific objects directly from within the PD window? (i.e. right click, help?)

Hi,
I have a problem getting pix_flip working when using separator for pix_video. The image flickers back and forth between the 'flip'-mode and original position. I tried pix_separator, but that didn't work either.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but let me know.
Ciao, Sara
Solved it already. Something went wrong in the process of using pix_separator. It's working fine now.

hi
gem is not my area, but i think you should install gem 0.90.1 first. it has got a bugfix for windows.
your question is maybe confusing the list, because people already told you to upgrade gem to 0.90.1. sorry, if you already did it, but then please be accurate with the version-number in your request.
