i commited some changes to k_cext to link with functions defined in k_cext, which wasn't possible before ...

Does this mean that cvs k_cext now works with windows again? In case, its probably time for another official release. Also, does it compile under linux? I noticed you removed "#include <stdbool.h>"...

i just compiled it under linux without any problem ... about the stdbool.h ... i wasn't at my home computer, but on a winxp machine ... it seems that someone who tried to compile k_cext before, removed it ... for linux we need it, for windows we have the typedef and defines for bool, true and false ...
but in case you make another release ... it's configured that the k_cext.lib file has to be in the ./pd/bin/ folder like the pd.lib ... i'm not sure, but maybe it's better to have it in the ./pd/extra folder with the k_cext.dll ...
cheers... tim

I don't even know the difference between a .lib and a .dll file. Can't you just change the makefile the way you think it should be?

Thanks. I think I remember that k_func did not work in windows, because of missing vararg macro in Visual C. Is that still correct? Perhaps I should make workaround for it... And has anyone tried it with macosx yet? It should kind of work.

yes, the k_func problem still exists ... i didn't use it, so it didn't came to my mind ... also you would have to change the compile-string to include the .lib file you create in k_func ...
cheers... tim
