The version is the problem. The new windows version seems to have a bug with "find" in general. I posted that in another thread. And any older version (0.40.3 or 0.41.4) can't find it. So I guess I'll have to wait until the latest windows version will get fixed. I posted a bug report already. I was just hoping there was a possibility in older versions until the new one gets fixed. Hallo, Ingo Scherzinger hat gesagt: // Ingo Scherzinger wrote:
I am looking for a search function to find [send] and [receive] objects within abstractions that use "$0" at the beginning
of the name.
Ctr+f doesn't find anything even if I replace $0 with the
number (for
example 1003) that it actually represents. Any ideas?
Which Pd version are you using? Searching for "$0-name" finds [r $0-name] on the latest pd-0.42.

no. the new (0.42) w32-version of Pd-extended (which, btw, is not an
official release yet) has this bug.
i doubt (though i have to admit that i don't actually know) that the
0.42 w32-version of Pd-vanilla has the bug as well.
so you have to either switch to Pd (vanilla) or wait for Pd-extended
to fix the bug.
