Why don't you just commit the fix for the [delwrite~] bug ? It would fix at least three problems at once.

Patch window background was grey for me with pd-gui-rewrite on my ubuntu hardy laptop (Ubuntu Studio not installed). I can't test the latest 0.42.5 as the laptop has since died but previous versions were ok.

This is great! Currently there is only a 64-bit version for Ubuntu jaunty in the builds, will there be more? On Lucid, it will not install because of the dependency on libraw1394-8 (Lucid has libraw1394-11)
L.Willkomm
Can't you force libraw-8? or make a link called libraw-8 to your system's libraw. It usually works.

If people with other 64-bit systems make builds, there will be :) The
builds that are posted are all the machines that people have setup for
builds. The Jaunty/64-bit machine is run by Andras Muranyi, for
example.
On Lucid, it will not install because of the dependency on
libraw1394-8 (Lucid has libraw1394-11)
I'll check it out.

I can't reproduce this, plus the official package does not list
libraw1394-8 or libraw1394-11 as a dependency. Plus libraw1394-dev is
not installed, but libraw1394-11 is.

the way I've found to deal with this kind of problem, is to add a previous Ubuntu distribution as a secondary download location. That way, any packages not found anymore in your Ubuntu distribution will be taken from a previous version.
It's annoying that we have to do this at all, but it's easier like that, than to download older debs using a web browser.

Hello Hans,
Thanks for the return of the msd objects in pd-extended! I can create an msd object in an new patch but neither an msd2D or an msd3D. However, when i load the help patch of msd (using the right-click on the object) the help patch creates normally these two objects and then i can create them in my patch. Any idea of what is going on?
