I, I 've got a quetion about real time vidéo with gem.0.90.0 on windows.
hi please feel free to post your questions on the pd-list (so you will get more users' points of view.
what "port" you can use using a real time in video ? is it possible with a "web cam" on usb port ?
yes
is it possible with a dv port (fire wire) ?
i guess so.
gem connects via directshow, so any camera that supports that should work with Gem.
right clicking on the [pix_video] object should bring up a help-patch. if it does not, open doc/pix_videoDS.pd

Firewire and web cam works great with XP. If you use firewire input, do not forget to reduce the resolution ([dv res half< or [dv res quarter<) or your pix_ operations will eat up your cpu.
pix_resize does not seem to work.
