hi !
When I place the gemwin on the extended part of the desktop (svideo out to beamer) it doesen't update anymore. I searched the list archives and found a posting on a 'secondscreen 1/0' message, but when I try it I get an error.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem ?
My setup is: Win XP pro PD 0.36 GEM-0.87
ATI mobility radeon 9000

I get an error with secondscreen on gem 0.87, but not on a new gem version (gem 0.87 + cvs (compiled april 14 2003)). maybee upgrading your gem version will help. (?)

secondscreen only works on OSX - that's the only platform Jamie and I wrote it for. on the various windows platforms you can feed the coords of the second display and turn off the border for the gemwin. this may or may not give an accelerated context depending on hardware.

hey
on my machine (painful windows xp) the combination of pix_video_ds and pix_rtx results in a crash. does anybody know why or how to solve this.
regards wolfgang
Hi wolfgang,
That is probably a result of a bug in pix_rtx I suspect. Are you using gem 0.87 or a CVS build?
Can you describe the circumstances for the crash?
Thanks, Daniel
