check my last mail, I started a page about that on my member section in
the pdwiki. feel free to complete what I said, I think the page is
editable by all. (I don't have any backup of it, please don't erase it ;))
I have just compiled pd 39. extended test2 on a p4 laptop running breezy. It went ok and works fine (so far, although I did get a divide by zero error when using expr in a patch, but that could just be the patch). Yes there were lots of warnings but i just ignored them!
I followed the instructions on http://puredata.org/docs/developer/Debian with some slight differences...
Gridlflow does not compile (I have attached a txt of the errors) but I did use libmagick++6c2 from the ubunto repo rather than libmagick++6 not sure if that makes a difference, but worth noting. I also installed libavifile-0.7-dev from ubuntu sources rather than debian unstable.
There was one lib called libdps-dev that I had to get by adding
deb http://debian.fabbione.net/debian-ipv6 sarge ipv6
to my /etc/apt/sources.list
I made a tar.bz2 package I can mail you if you want to test it. Bear in mind its built on a 686.
