When I add a [pix_blob] to any GEM chain I get this:
error: Gem: pix object cannot handle this format (80e0) !
It occurs when I feed image data into the first inlet, either with [pix_film] or [pix_videoDS]. The object also produces no data at its outlets. I am on win2k, latest CVS build of gem, but it gives the same error with the ordinary Gem 0.87.
Am I doing something wrong or does it just not work on Win2k?
thanks alexander

Try adding a [pix_rgba] object before the [pix_blob] to convert from BGR pixels to RGBA pixels. Some GEM objects don't support the BGR format that Windows natively uses for images.
