yo is there an LCD object for os X? or something similar,,, i am looking for some object where i can load a picture as the background and then draw on top of it, using different colors, pen widths, etc. tips? cheerio

there is a pdp_pen in pidip, but it doesn't do as much as an lcd.. but, well, you can draw.
and, installation of pdp/pidip on OSX has to be improved, well, maybe hoy o manana o...

hi,
if your disgust for Tcl/Tk is below average, the easiest could be drawing in a Pd window directly with Tk commands via a tot object from the toxy collection (under externals/miXed in cvs).
Unlike the widget stuff, simple tots seem to pass the tests on osx.
