hi list and Yves
but, i still wonder why people use ffmpeg..
because people dont know why ffmpeg is abandonned.
I wonder how to do it with theora, aside from required static libs. thnax in advance daniel .

ola,
mm, now that you added that path, i think you should recompile ffmpeg AND pidip and then it should load...
but, i still wonder why people use ffmpeg, it's been made optional and is kinda abandonned here.... ( using theora )

you were right: i needed to add that path to my ld.so.conf. Thanx :) but now pd claims: usr/lib/pd/externs/pidip.pd_linux: undefined symbol: mp3lame_encoder why that? shouldnt all that mp3lame juice be squeezed, when ffmpeg was compiled? many thanx in advance daniel . ----- Original Message ----- From: "Yves Degoyon" ydegoyon@free.fr To: "daniel kosenko" zvuk@linuxmail.org Subject: Re: [PD] pidip-0.12.19 doesnt load Date: Thu, 11 Aug 2005 23:23:29 +0200
ola,
maybe you only need a "ldconfig -v" or /usr/local/lib is not in your libraries' search path ?

because it's funnier with free codecs. but, oke, quicktime support remains because theora is still a little bit heavy.

what do you "how to do it?", just do it ??
dunno what you're talking about
ciao, sevy
