i have just had a OOPS,
w/ Linux 00110101 2.6.20-gentoo-r8-111 #7 SMP PREEMPT Wed Aug 29 23:56:20 UTC 2007 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux
.. i have no clue really
may be it has to do with RT mutex ..? i have just started using -rt and got rtprio enabled with pam_limits very recently.
i have a modified pd.tk (a bit crappy, but i know why i have errors on the console) .. just before it have crashed i have bit configuring some stuff with [keynum] ..
may be .. it's because of pd.tk, cause the process which have crashed was pd-gui ..?
i have attached all i think could be usefull.
Tcl/Tk version 8.4 gcc (GCC) 3.4.6 (Gentoo 3.4.6-r2, ssp-3.4.6-1.0, pie-8.7.10) glibc version 2.6.1
all from recent (stable) gentoo ebuilds.
i even managed to get pd-gui to crash once again with the same patches open, without getting an OOPS this time.
after removing some stuff from the patches i got it working ok .. not sure really , but clearly it's because of the stuff that i've done.
i didn't use any external btw and it's a compilation from Miller's sources.
i sand this for sort of informative purpose; also to say that pd didn't crash on me by itself never yet!
If you can make a patch that reproduces this crash every time, then
it's much easier to fix the bug.
